Scenes from a Dreich Day 2

I got into trouble for highlighting the dreich day in Scotland… they happen, they present an amazing opportunity to grab images that would normally look bland if not for the weather.

So for the a matter of peace… the sun shine in Scotland 365 days of the year… it’s just you need to be Scottish to see it 🙂

Note: In Scotland we call lakes Lochs and valleys Glens however, we call beer beer and a sheep stomach filled with heart, liver, kidney, intestines, minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, a Haggis … it’s damned good, however, it’s often better to find out the ingredients after you’ve tried it! You have to love Scotland!

  1. Wish I could be a haggis virgin again, taste it for the first time. Now it’s the bog-standard thing I get from the chippy when I can’t be bothered to cook. But I remember that first taste…
